Age Out

Upon turning 18, orphan Richie (Tye Sheridan) is forced to exit State care. He forgoes education, finds a job, and with the money that he stole from the institution he came from, rents an apartment. However, his finances are always tight. One day, he meets Swim (Caleb Landry Jones), who tells him that his landlady, Ms. LaField (Brett Butler) is infamous for ripping her tenants off. That motivates him to break into the lady's office to steal money. Unfortunately, she winds up dead the next day, making him the prime suspect for the murder. Written and directed by A.J. Edwards.
