Trains - The Great Train Story

Since 1941, four generations have been thrilled and delighted by the Museum of Science and Industry's impressive train exhibit. In 2002, an all new train exhibit was introduced. It was greeted with wild enthusiasm by both kids and grown-ups. The Great Train Story shows the importance of railroads today by focusing on four major functions - intermodel transportation, passenger service, transporting grain, and moving raw materials. Each of these stories is told by taking visitors on a 2200 scale-mile journey between Chicago and Seattle. There's so much to see, you'll have to prepare to be amazed.
