Biography
The Helio Sequence is a US indie pop duo comprising Brandon Summers (guitar/vocals) and Benjamin Weikel (keyboards/drums). Based in Beaverton, Oregon, the duo formed the project in 1999 and issued a self-released EP later in the year. The EP’s experimental ambient approach was carried over to the 2000 album Com Plex, which like the EP was played, recorded, produced and mixed entirely by Summers and Weikel in their tiny home studio.
