Rating: 1.5/5 -- It's a deeply cynical and joyless point of view, completely lacking in the winking visual style that made Crank worth a look.

Rating: 1/5 -- In the press materials Mr. Butler informs us enthusiastically that the movie "has all the hallmarks of Neveldine's and Taylor's sick, yet genius minds." At least he's half right.

Rating: 2.5/5 -- Like so many movies, the set-up and presentation of Gamer is awesome. The story, characters and writing... not so much. Full Review

Product Description:

After directing the frenzied CRANK, Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor helm another adrenaline-fueled film with this thriller. 300's Gerard Butler stars as Kable, a man living in a near-future dystopia driven by online games. Kable is the world's best player at its biggest game, where players take control of real people, but the competition really begins when he tries to fight the system itself.
