I Love Rock & Roll, Vol. 4 is a budget-priced compilation of classic rock & roll from the '50s and '60s, featuring the original recordings by the artists who made them famous. While only ten tracks per disc seems a bit skimpy in the age of the 80-minute CD, the lineup is top-notch: "The Worst That Could Happen" by Brooklyn Bridge, "Lonely Teenager" by Dion, "Midnight Train to Georgia" by Gladys Knight & the Pips, "C'mon and Swim" by Bobby Freeman, and "Backfield in Motion" by Mel & Tim. Also included are classics by the Passions, Gene & Debbe, Sue Thompson, Jerry Butler, and the Lemon Pipers. ~ Al Campbell
