Nineteenth-century Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti wrote across many genres, from chamber music to opera. Though he wrote more than sixty operas during his prolific career, LINDA DI CHAMOUNIX is considered to be one of his most important. In this fantastic production, Linda is played brilliantly by the opera star Edita Gruberova, her passionate vocal stylings reflecting the emotional turmoil of the character. Tenor Deon van der Walt adds stellar support to her star-turning performance.
