Al Haig Al Haig Quartet

One of the key figures in the development of be-bop, Al Haig's piano has graced some of the best recording sessions in all of jazz. Presented here is his masterful 1954 Esoteric release, simply titled "Al Haig Quartet," one of three albums he released that year, all regarded as highlights in the career of one of the best pianists in modern jazz history. On these recordings Al is joined by Benny Weeks on guitar; Teddy Kotick on bass and Phil Brown on drums. All selections newly remastered.
