This audiophile recording from the dawn of the stereo age presents musical selections from American theater and film producer Mike Todd's various Broadway productions, including selections from the Hot Mikado, Gay New Orleans, Streets of Paris, Star And Garter, Mexican Hayride, a Night in Venice, As the Girls Go, Up in Central Park, Peep Show, Something for the Boys, and the epic Oscar winning Around the World in 80 Days. Due to contractual obligations, the orchestra was listed as Jack Saunders on the original LP cover; however, the orchestra is actually the Robert Farnon Orchestra. The sessions were conducted by Douglas Gamley and Robert Farnon at Walthamstow Town Hall, London in 1958. All selections newly re-mastered.
