Entertainment Reviews:
Rating: 3/4 --
This isn't a noir in the traditional sense, but it boasts enough ingredients to pass as one.

Creative Loafing
Rating: 4/5 --
Another classic Robinson performance in a moody thriller.
Las Vegas Review-Journal
A peculiar thriller with some horror overtones. It conjures up a wholesome small town feel, complete with nosy neighbors and gossip, and an undercurrent that grows increasingly darker.

Pete and Ellen have reared Meg as their own since she was a baby. Now a teen, Meg convinces her friend Nath to come help with chores on the farm, since Pete has difficulty with his wooden leg. When Nath insists on using a short cut home through the woods, Pete warns him of screams in the night, of terrors associated with the red house.
