Starring the most ferocious of all martial arts stars, Sonny Chiba, KARATE FOR LIFE is the third film in a trilogy about Chiba's own mentor, Mas Oyama. It follows CHAMPION OF DEATH and KARATE BEAR FIGHTER. Chiba stars as his teacher, who has been banned from all karate competitions in Japan for his unorthodox martial arts style and proclivity for fighting dangerous animals as a challenge. Oyama and his friend Fujita, a judo master, are forced to do battle in underground competitions. But when one promoter proves to be crooked, having fighters throw matches and giving others unfair advantages, Oyama sets out to stop the corruption and demonstrate that he can win under any circumstances.
