SWEET doing a covers album? It all came about because ANDY SCOTT was pragmatic about how any new album of original material would be received in today's youth orientated airplay market. Andy's son Damian gave birth to the idea of the album and thereby solving the dilemma of how to do a new studio record, without actually doing new songs. Ideas came thick and fast and the band decided to perform "Join Together" on a major German TV show and got a massive reaction. As Andy said "We knew we were onto something" the band elected to take the idea a stage further, and come up with an album of covers. But done in a Sweet style. "We felt we should Sweetify the songs-you see, we even came up with our own verb to describe what we did!"
