The surviving footage of this rare early western was assembled from 35 mm fragments. Some parts are missing but the story is complete and easy to follow. Two-fisted Don Endicott (Pete Morrison) is tossed off a train just outside Rawdon, a town in the midst of a booming oil strike, and happens to meet Millie Atwood (Peggy Montgomery) the granddaughter of ranchers being pressured to sell off their land to the local oil syndicate. 38 minutes Includes the western short: THE ROARING RIDER (1926) with Jean Arthur and Buffalo Bill Jr. - 11 minutes Feature and short presented with music scores arranged by Jack Hardy.
