Egg Cream & Company Sweet Harmony

The name says it all: EggCream hearkens back to the days of corner soda shops and the lush pop vocal sounds of groups like The Four Lads, The Lettermen and The Vogues (whose Turn Around, Look at Me is covered on this release). This New York quartet comprised of Scott LaChance, Ron Leone, Bobby Tramutra and Patty Bello is all about the sheer joy of voices in harmony. They layer and build their vocals to produce intricate, soaring harmonies on such standout tracks as The Four Aces' "Love is a Many Splendored Thing" and Paul Anka's "Time To Cry."
