Description by OLDIES.com:

Tom Kirk's parents were slaughtered in an Indian raid when he was just a child. A friendly Navajo found the boy and raised him as his son. When his adoptive father is murdered, Tom journeys to Canyon City to capture the killer. He finds his father's ring in the possession of con man and card player "Honest John" Grogan. Despite the evidence, Grogan has an airtight alibi for the time of the murder. The sheriff warns Tom against vigilantism, but "The Navajo Kid" decides to take the law into his own hands and bring Grogan to justice.

Bob Steele was one of the most popular cowboy actors during the Golden Age of Hollywood, starring in over 100 Westerns in the 1930's and 1940's. He began his career in the silent era co-starring along with his twin brother Bill in The Adventures of Bill and Bob series of short subjects (1920-1922). Before long, Bob struck out on his own and changed his surname from Bradbury to the heroic-sounding "Steele" with 1927's The Mojave Kid. He is perhaps best known for starring in PRC's Billy the Kid series (he would later cede the role to Buster Crabbe.) A versatile actor, Steele also appeared as Curley in Of Mice and Men (1939) and a hitman in The Big Sleep (1946).

BONUS: Western Sketches (1936): This stunning Technicolor short, part of the Paramount Pictorials travelogue series, features breathtaking cinematography of the Arizona deserts filmed by Robert C. Bruce.
