Rating: 3/5 -- Heckler isn't perfect, or even especially memorable, but if nothing else, it's at least the best movie that Kennedy's ever been involved with. And you can put that on the poster!

Jamie Kennedy and the film's director, Michael Addis, present an amazing amount of footage (including the Uwe Boll vs. The Critics boxing matches) and an impressive spectrum of sources (everyone from Jewel to George Lucas). Full Review

Rating: C- -- Heckler doesn't penetrate like a proper documentary should; it's more silly than exploratory, missing a prime opportunity to crack open a dialogue between critic and performer that could generously benefit both parties. Full Review

Rating: B+ -- Kennedy objects to objections about his mean-spirited jokes; the unexplored subtext of this solid film is why all humor has gone negative? Full Review

Product Description:

How do standup comedians deal with hecklers' That's the question posed by popular actor/comedian Jamie Kennedy in this documentary, which offers a close-up view of the relationship between fan and performer. Kennedy speaks to comedy greats such as Lewis Black, Henry Winkler, and Roseanne Barr in his quest to document coping strategies.

Description by Echo Bridge Home Entertainment:

Heckler, a comedy-documentary that explores the increasingly critical world we live in, follows Jamie Kennedy as he investigates hecklers and the entertainers who endure them: Russell Peters, Lewis Black, Craig Ferguson, Bill Maher, Paul Rodriguez, Roseanne Barr, and more. A fast-moving, "hilarious-claws-out look at the often brutal relationship between performers and their most vocal critics" (VARIETY), Heckler shows just how nasty and mean the fight is between those in the spotlight…and those in the dark.
