Ilaria Pilar Patassini Luna In Ariete

Ilaria PILAR Patassini is an Italian singer, lyricist and actress, born in Rome. She is a very versatile artist, her recitals blend Italian singer-songwriter tradition with jazz, folk, pop and theatrical elements. Her artistic and musical influences run from Mozart to Homer, Nina Simone, Caravaggio, Paolo Conte, Giacomo Puccini, Melody Gardot, Sigur Ros, Edith Piaf, Damien Rice, Lhasa de Sela. She perform in Italy and abroad. Since 2014 she's been joining forces with Canadian guitarist Michael Occhipinti and takes part as lead female vocalist in Muorica by Sicilian Jazz Project ensemble. With them she touring Canada in many prestigious venue like Koerner Hall (Toronto), Toronto Jazz Festival, Vancouver International Jazz Festival, The Cultch (Vancouver) Ottawa ChamberFest, , SaskJazz and The Bassement (Saskatoon) Edmonton Jazz Festival, The Jazz Room (Waterloo) and many others. She's teacher for singers and interpreter at Officina Pasolini Academy in Rome. She worked with RSI, Italian Swiss Radio, as author and speaker. She achieved Conservatory degrees both in Singing and in Chamber Music and she also perform in French, English, Spanish, Portuguese . She loves September, the roots of centennial olive trees, fireworks, early evenings, sail boats' bow, oregano and Mediterranean skyscapes. In her next life she's going to be a pirate but with a strong resemblance to Sophia Loren. Lamore è dove vivo is her fourth album as soloist.
