Product Description:
This retelling of the classic fairy tale "Beauty and the Beast," recast in the world of Nordic lore, stars Jane March (COLOR OF NIGHT) as Freya, the beautiful daughter of a noble Viking king (Greg Melvill-Smith). When both her father and her fiancé are captured by a tormented man-beast (David Dukas), Freya must battle the terrible monster for their lives. But the Beast, who was a man before being cursed by the god Oden and exiled by his people, still remembers the code of honor he once lived by. Struggling to keep the monster he has become in check, he finds that his battle with Freya becomes a fight for his own vindication.
