Beg!

Beg! is a dark surreal vision of the not-to-distant future in the tradition of Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange, Terry Gilliam's Brazil and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's City of Lost Children. Based on the stage play by David Glass, Beg! Follow a grotesque and surreal series of events taking place over one night in a decrepit mental hospital rotting away in the not-too-distant future. When Dr. Penelope Second (Peta Lily) learns that her lover has been murdered and her father has fallen into a coma, her universe begins to slowly unravel around her. As the corrupt hospital board launches an investigation led by crippled Security Head Hal and brainwashed Detective Sergeant Stiltskin, the confused young doctor soon finds herself trapped in a psychotic nightmare of deception and betrayal where nothing is what it seems!
