Product Description:
Based on a true story, this picture is set during the tumultuous days of World War II, when Americans began to suspect their own citizens of aiding the enemy. In the small coastal town of Cut Off, Louisiana, Camille Picou (Tatum O'Neal) continues to mourn the loss of her husband, who locals think murdered Chinese aliens he himself was smuggling into the country. They also suspect Camille's participation in these events, which is compounded after she finds herself falling in love with the German refugee Dr. Lenz (Julian Sands). As enemy U-boats continue to wreak havoc on merchant ships, the situation reaches an ultimately stunning climax.
