Rating: 2/5 -- Lobo has an interesting eye for visual aesthetics but there's not really anything else that I'd recommend here. Full Review

Rating: 3/5 -- Confined to a creepy house, the movie has a superb claustrophobic tone, both visually and psychologically. But the pace is slow as it churns along in between some atmospherically freaky moments. Full Review
Shadows on the Wall

[I]t proves Lobo an able helmer, eking decent atmospherics and good performances within a potentially claustrophobic premise.

Rating: 6/10 -- Josh Lobo's twist on a Twilight Zone episode is a reminder that not all remakes have to stick to the script. Full Review

I Trapped the Devil is an ambitious idea, but beyond the premise it doesn't deliver on what it promises. Full Review
Battle Royale With Cheese

Unfortunately, for all the debuting filmmaker's talent for creepy atmospherics, I Trapped the Devil feels draggy and attenuated even with its brief 82-minute running time including credits. Full Review

Product Description:

One Christmas, Matt (AJ Bowen) and his wife Karen (Susan Burke), decide to turn up to Matt's estranged brother Steve's house (Scott Poythress) for the holidays. A great surprise awaits them when they discover a man in the basement that appears to be the devil. Matt and Karen are shocked and terrified at this dramatic turn of events but must come to some conclusions as to whether Steve is losing his mind, or the man in the basement is truly the devil incarnate. Written and directed by Josh Lobo.
