The New York based stand-up comedian Mike Birbiglia hit on an unusual idea when he conceived of WHAT I SHOULD HAVE SAID WAS NOTHING. The show is based on writings from Birbiglia's journal, which were previously only seen by members of the comedian's mailing list. The postings proved so popular that Birbiglia turned them into a show, which is presented here in all its intimate glory.
