Description by OLDIES.com:
Western Racketeers (1935): Ranchers in the San Bernardino Mountains need to drive their cattle through Alamo Pass to get them to market -- but a gang of cutthroats haunts this stretch of government-owned land, demanding one dollar per head before allowing them to proceed. Cattleman Bill Bowers is determined to end the reign of terror, but the gang shoots anyone who defies them. The air is thick as gunsmoke when Bill gathers other ranchers to make an all-out assault on the bandits and to force them to reveal the name of their clandestine leader. Starring Bill Cody, Edna Aselin, Wally Wales, George Chesebro and Bud Osborne. Directed by Robert J. Horner.
The Hurricane Horseman (1931): Gun Smith arrives in a territory ruled by Pancho Gomez's outlaw band. Lured to Gomez's camp, Smith falls in love with their Latina hostage Tonita who teaches the cowboy to say "Yo te amo" without telling him what it means ("I love you"). Smith disguises himself as an outlaw in an attempt to rescue Tonita -- but he can't avoid arousing the suspicion of the bandidos when the only Spanish he can muster is "Yo te amo!" Starring Lane Chandler, Marie Quillan, Walter Miller, Yakima Canutt and Richard Alexander. Directed by Armand Schaefer.-- Tom Weaver
