Bradley, Hartwig and Halm make engaging leads, bringing spirit and commitment to their archetypal roles.
Los Angeles Times
Rating: 2/5 --
This kind of magpie filmmaking can work with a sincere core, but the big problem is that Earth to Echo lacks one. It's all spare parts.

Rating: 3/5 --
It is a smart, visually dynamic film, but audiences may miss Spielberg's wonderment.

There are so many, well, I'll be charitable and call them 'homages' to 80s movies that I stopped counting. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, except for the fact that once referenced, it was hard not to compare those movies to yours

Dear Cast and Crew
Rating: 2/5 --
It's all well and good to say that the actors are relatively new to the field, but when the film rests entirely on their shoulders, it's simply not enough for their acting and camaraderie to be at best passable.

4 stars out of 5 -- [D]elightful….It also crackles with the childish excitement of heading into the unknown…
Empire
3 stars out of 4 -- Believable as best buddies, Teo Halm as Alex and Reese Hartwig as Munch give equally credible, naturalistic performances.

Product Description:
A group of young friends come to the aid of a mysterious visitor from a distant planet in this kid-friendly sci-fi adventure in the tradition of E.T. and THE GOONIES. Shortly after a massive construction project begins driving out the residents of their serene Nevada neighborhood, best friends Tuck (Astro), Munch (Reese Hartwig), and Alex (Teo Halm) notice that their mobile phones are being flooded with a series of enigmatic, encoded messages. Determined to discover the source of the code as their families, too, pack up and prepare to go their separate ways, the trio venture out into the desert and find a diminutive alien they nickname "Echo," who needs their help to get back to his ship. Although their quest is complicated by a group of sinister construction workers on a mission to reach the ailing extraterrestrial first, Tuck, Munch, and Alex soon receive some unexpected help from their classmate Emma (Ella Linnea Wahlestedt). Together with Emma, these three friends might just have a shot at getting Echo back to the stars before he's captured and imprisoned by the shadowy figures who are closing in fast.
