This set of recordings collects a variety of piano rolls made in the 1920s by the talented 20th century jazz pianist Fats Waller, including the Bessie Smith composition "Jailhouse Blues," and the hard-swinging "Haitian Blues," as well as "Cryin' for My Used to Be," a rarely heard duet by Waller and his former piano teacher, James P. Johnson.
