Mr. Clements works wonders with a deadpan expression, imbuing his role with a repressed melancholy, a nice match for the poignant emotionalism of Mr. Gould’s Bob.

Product Description:

After his wife abruptly leaves him, a floundering playwright (Jemaine Clement) moves in with his father (Elliott Gould) in a retirement community. While there, he bonds with his dad and gets involved in a senior theater group that's putting on a musical. Ingrid Michaelson and Annie Potts co-star. Written and directed by Sam Hoffman.
