Presented here is the third album from the great Oldham group, titled BARCLAY JAMES HARVEST & OTHER SHORT STORIES. It was produced by the band and Wally Allen, formerly bassist of the Pretty Things and debuting here as a producer. Although this album does suffer slightly from having been rather rushed in the studio, it still sounds extraordinarily fresh, and contains at least two bona fide BJH classics: 'Medicine Man' and 'After the Day'.
