One of the more sophisticated of the short-lived cycle of Nazi torture camp exploitation films, CALIGULA REINCARNATED AS HITLER (aka LAST ORGY OF THE THIRD REICH) fluctuates between the kitschy poor taste of ILSA, SHE WOLF OF THE S.S. and the serious exploration of human depravity found in SALO. Lise (Daniela Poggi) is an imprisoned Jewish girl brought to the ladies-only death camp run by the sadistic Commandant Starker (Marc Loud). She blames herself for the capture and death of her family, and doesn't fear death or torture. The Commandant, intrigued by Lise's nihilism, takes a special liking to her, and becomes determined to make her dread his many creative methods of torment. Once banned in the UK, CALIGULA REINCARNATED AS HITLER is not for those with weak stomachs.
