Joel Goodman (Rick Hearst, GENERAL HOSPITAL) is an ad exec on the fast track to success, and he decides that spending hours stuck in L.A. traffic is not for him. He hires a homeless man (Anthony Geary, GENERAL HOSPITAL) to sit in his passenger seat so he can use the carpool lane, but learns some unexpected lessons from his carpool guy about the true meaning of success. Rising advertising exec Joel Goodman (Rick Hearst) is in a race with his co-worker Tom (Sean Kanan) to nab the coveted corner office - an office vacated by a high-ranking colleague who literally worked himself to death! There is just one problem...getting to work on time! The only thing standing between him and his new digs is mile after mile of LA traffic. Desperate, Joel hires a homeless man, Oliver Fasst (Anthony Geary), as his E-ticket to the most coveted ride in town - the carpool lane.
But it turns out that, despite his tumbledown appearance, Carpool Guy knows a thing or two about business. And soon he's steering Joel out of his longtime traffic jam and onto a road that will prove successful for Joel in both his professional and personal life.
