Rating: 1/5 -- Paul Newman's most despised movie (by himself especially) is pretty bad.

Like the Thomas B. Costain book, the picture is overdrawn and sometimes tedious, but producer-director Victor Saville still manages to instill interest in what's going on, and even hits a feeling of excitement occasionally. Full Review

Rating: C+ -- Admittedly dull, overlong and kitschy, the film was dismissed as embarrassing debut for Paul Newman, yet a closer look shows the attributes that would make him a mega-star. Full Review

Fictional account of making of what some followers of Christ would have wanted the chalice of the Last Supper made and Paul Newman, one of his newest roles is the sculptor assigned to create the chalice. Worth a look.
