Originally produced in 1972, this Godzilla film is among the best loved for its funny quirks and quintessential moments. Godzilla battles the chicken-headed space monster, Gigan, and a host of other evil alien creatures. The film's high point is a dynamic extended fight sequence between Godzilla, Gigan, Angurius, and King Ghidorah. All of the elements that have made Godzilla a favorite are here: actors dressed in rubber monster suits, stock film footage, and goofy characters that are an afterthought to the charismatic giant reptiles.
