Entertainment Reviews:
Rating: 4/5 --
Your first guess is that Amirpour never met a Jim Jarmusch film she didn't like, but given that she's denied this in interviews, it's must be more a case of accidentally twinned stylebooks: the deadpan glaze never comes off.

The Babbling Blonde
Writer/director Ana Lily Amirpour makes A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night feel effortless and almost even inevitable. Not to mention as cool as anything has been since Pulp Fiction hit.

From the Front Row
It's impressive to evoke two different feelings from your audience at all times...one of the most visually-impressive movies I've seen this year.

Nyx Fears
Jim Jarmusch is evidently an influence on the film’s sharp black and white cinematography, coolly enigmatic characters, dry humour and pervasive mood of existential ennui.
Uncut
4 stars out of 5 -- Ana Lily Amirpour’s debut is not-quite horror that combines moody monochrome style, an eclectic soundtrack and hipster attitude to giddily inventive effect.
