Entertainment Reviews:
4 stars out of 5 -- [VOX LUX] upholds its resonant audacity and adds something new: a lead from Natalie Portman that hurtles off the show-stealing scale.
Total Film
3.5 stars out of 4 -- [A]lways riveting and emotional, and dazzlingly sure of itself.
RogerEbert.com
The entire film rests on Natalie Portman. There's no question about her commitment to this role, but we think that it's too over the top and becomes tedious, especially with it's abrupt end which left us in stunned silence.

Smash Cut Reviews
A work of great style, sharp observations and unexpected tonal shifts... It confirms Corbet as a vital and genuinely special voice in filmmaking.

Awards Daily
VOX LUX is an audacious story about a survivor who becomes a star, and a deeply satisfying, narratively ambitious jolt of a movie.
New York Times
Lol Crawley’s superb 35mm cinematography is as restless and as changeable as the woman it follows, sometimes charging forward in tune with her chaos, sometimes freezing her in its still, scientific gaze...
