Description by OLDIES.com:
Clark Gable, First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Forces, is ordered to proceed to England with the 351st Bombardment Group to shoot a film dealing with modern aerial gunnery in actual combat. The 351st is comprised of 40 B-17 Flying Fortresses and the 4,000 men who fly and maintain them. Lieutenant Gable and the camera crews follow the brave men of the 351st from their arrival and throughout their rigorous training as they prepare to attack Hitler's Reich. The cameras roll as they fly their missions over Germany seeking to destroy manufacturing and munitions plants, delivering their smashing blows from the sky. The cameras also record the horrific losses and stunning sacrifices that would be required to defeat Nazi Germany.
