EVANGELION 3.33: YOU CAN (NOT) REDO is the third installment in a film series known as the Rebuild of Evangelion that reinterprets the story first told in the critically acclaimed anime series NEON GENESIS EVANGELION. Covering the material from the episodes 7-18 of the series but also including completely new storylines, as well as the new character Unit-05 pilot Mari Makinami, the film opens as Maki and Asuka are sent into Earth orbit to rescue Shinji, who is later fitted with an explosive collar by WILLE, the organization bent on destroying NERV.
