The fights, doled out judiciously amid more tender scenes revolving around aging, instruction and community, even have a delightfully old-fashioned body-blow groundedness to them.

Rating: D+ -- The Final Fight plays out like a collection of greatest-hits vignettes barely connected to one another. Full Review

Rating: 3.5/5 -- With a political edge that recalls some of the work of Ip Man's most famous pupil, the film is nevertheless at its strongest as a character study. Full Review
