Entertainment Reviews:
Rating: 2/4 --
Delpy's portrayal - high-strung, neurotic, prone to mild hysterics - is so reminiscent of some of the actress's previous roles that it's hard to forget that you're watching Delpy, not Violette.

Julie Delpy is such a spectacular actress, especially in this role. It reminded me a little of her character in2 days in Paris, but more mature and twice as funny.

Lolo is fun and fresh to look at: Violette's habitat is fashion-world, Centre-Pompidou new Paris, blessedly free of the Louvre-and-Seine shorthand that sells French movies to American audiences.

The film's intention is to be ludicrous and outrageous, taking from similar domestic comedies of the past, and it works just enough to keep you entertained, but by the end has you question "Lolo's" underdeveloped conclusion.
