Description by OLDIES.com:
"Let's go a roving, a roving, a roving and join the Buccaneers!!!" A young and dashing Robert Shaw stars as Dan Tempest, a former pirate who will be pardoned by the King if he becomes a British privateer and joins in the fight against Spanish pirates threatening Britain's rule of the seas. Noted for playing James Bond's nemesis in From Russia With Love (1963) and King Henry VIII in A Man For All Seasons (1966), Shaw would return to the sea with a stellar performance as the grizzled shark-hunter in 1975's summer blockbuster Jaws.
Hurricane: When Tempest and his crew learn of a Spanish galleon sunk during a hurricane, they rush to recover its priceless cargo of gold.
The Wasp: A young boy - one of Blackbeard's pirate crew - is captured during a raid. When he escapes, Tempest is lured into a trap.
The Return of Calico Jack: Trouble brews in Nassau when pirate Calico Jack shows up on the island while Tempest is hundreds of miles away in the Carolinas.
Mr. Beamish and the Hangman's Noose: The new Governor arrives and arrests acting-Governor Beamish for piracy. Tempest is certain that Beamish is being framed.
