VACATION modernises its yuks to play as both meta and fresh, with one eye keenly on 2015 expectations of comedy.

There are plenty of nods to the original "Vacation" films that fans of the series will appreciate, but this one also manages to have its own voice. It's a reboot that doesn't coast off its predecessor. Full Review

Rating: 1/5 -- At least the National Lampoon films were memorable, which is more than can be said for the misbegotten and instantly forgettable Vacation. Full Review

Product Description:

Rusty Griswold, the youngest child from 1983's NATIONAL LAMPOON'S VACATION is all grown up with a family of his own and fond childhood memories of a certain family road trip to Walley World, "America's Favorite Family Fun Park." Like his father, Clark (Chevy Chase), Rusty wants to forge closer bonds with his own family - wife Debbie (Christina Applegate) and boys James and Kevin (Skyler Gisondo and Steele Stebbins) - so he buys a souped-up Albanian van and convinces them to set off on their own crazy cross-country jaunt to Walley World. Directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein.
