Description by OLDIES.com:
This DVD follows Dickens through a wide range of city locations, visiting the sites of the debtor's prison where his father was held, and to the blacking factory where the newly impoverished child Charles Dickens worked with the poorest of the poor. It takes in the House of Parliament where he served his time as reporter and honed his skills as a writer, to his home near King's Cross Station. It also includes a visit to Poet's Corner in Westminster Abbey, where he lies buried, an honor reserved for the very greatest achievers in English literature.
