Messiah

Brilliant detective Red Metcalfe (Ken Stott) and his top team of investigators are pitched against a terrifying serial killer that is stalking the streets of London, leaving his victims with silver spoons in their mouths in place of tongues. A mysterious pattern is emerging, but any theories they develop regarding the killings turn into dead ends. More corpses are discovered with horrific injuries. As the body count rises steadily, the detectives stumble upon a bizarre theological connection between the victims - the killer is re-enacting the deaths of the twelve apostles. As it is only a matter of time before the fiend strikes again, Red and his team struggle to solve the murders.
