In the far distant future, a group of interplanetary explorers arrive on planet Earth, and make a discovery that challenges everything they ever learned about the downfall of mankind. It all started on October 30, 2009. A group of young filmmakers vanished without a trace after producing a documentary about the end of life on Earth. Flash forward to September, 2012: As the investigation into the filmmakers' disappearance continues, a CEA (Central Extraterrestrial Agency) agent watches a copy of the film just three months before the date that will alter the course of human history.
