Al Jennings was an unsuccessful outlaw of the Western frontier; however he was able to leverage the notoriety of his (pardoned) conviction with his imagined exploits and make a successful Hollywood career. Here is one feature and three shorts where Al Jennings portrays himself. This Disc Includes one feature and three short subjects. *** The Feature: THE LADY OF THE DUGOUT (1918) Al relates a story to an admiring journalist: He and his brother have stolen loot but nothing to eat when they happen to cross paths with another needy soul, a lady in a simple dirt home dugout of the prairie. 60 minutes ~ Plus the shorts ~ THE BANK ROBBERY (1908) A bank robbery is recreated in this early short.24 minutes THE TRYOUT (1919) A young man is give a 3-day try-out to convince him to give up his outlaw dreams - 24 minutes WHEN OUTLAWS MEET (circa 1919) A stop at a boot-legers cabin for food and rest leads to heaps of trouble. 22 minutes *** 130 total minutes.
