Rating: 4/10 -- The Bone Collector can't overcome limits of its script and it is unlikely to remain in viewers' memory for a long time.

From the well-placed and effectively used fake-out scares to the finely oiled secondary stock characters, from the charismatic lead characters to the creepy visuals, the film hits all its marks smoothly.

The Bone Collector is another one of those unpleasant serial-killer movies.
