Freckles (Johnny Downs) has just returned to town when he gets himself roped into helping a pair of big-city gangsters rob a bank. This lighthearted romp is highlighted by Gale Storm's singing and hilarious shenanigans by Mantan Moreland, whose efforts to locate gold with a new-fangled invention result in nothing but trouble.

Freckles (Johnny Downs) returns home from college, only to get roped into some dubious shenanigans with some gangsters and find himself accused of murder. Meanwhile, his lovely singling girlfriend (Gale Storm) falls for the sweet talk of a con man.
