A millionaire befriends the East Side Kids after they gallantly rescue him from a mugging. They eventually begin to suspect that the man's own son was one of the muggers. After getting to know the millionaire, the gang realizes that he's still mourning the loss of an older son who died in the war and would be crushed if he found out that his younger son was a criminal. The gang sets out to reform the boy with surprising results.
