Product Description:
Beginning with a live-action short featuring Spike blowing away Teletubbies, this compilation makes it clear from the outset that it is not meant for Saturday morning television. What follows are nearly two dozen dirty, disgusting, and downright funny and wildly creative animated shorts that touch on everything from gay Lego-like couples seeking a sperm donor to marionette clown pimps and cartoon necrophelia. Parodies of LOVE AMERICAN STYLE and THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK show up alongside filthy Christmas reindeers and baby-eating Siamese twins, with a few episodes of Internet fave ANGRY KID dispersed throughout to cool things off for a while. Highlights include Don Hertzfeldt's Oscar-nominated REJECTED, featuring promotional segments gone haywire; GHOST OF STEPHEN FOSTER, a terrific cartoon throwback based on the title song by Squirrel Nut Zippers; and WHEELCHAIR REBECCA, which stars Rough Sex Ben and Darbie. Lowlights include SLOACHES FUN HOUSE and DEEP SYMPATHY, which are so gross they cannot properly be described here. SPIKE AND MIKE'S 2000 SICK & TWISTED FESTIVAL OF ANIMATION is most definitely not for children, but it packs a wallop for those adults ready to indulge their wildest imagination.
