Entertainment Reviews:
5 stars out of 5 -- Not only is ELLE among Verhoeven’s best films, it enshrines one of the finest performances Isabelle Huppert has yet given. And that really is saying something.
Total Film
4 stars out of 4 -- The opening sequence of ELLE is just the start of the demented and exhilarating experience that is this movie. ELLE is a high-wire act without a net.

Rating: 3.75/5 --
It's Huppert's unique screen presence and boundless sense of bravery that allows Verhoeven to probe as deeply as he does with Michele's narrative.

Rating: 4/5 --
Elle belongs to Isabelle Huppert and stands out as one of her most seditious portrayals, a considerable feat in lieu of the phenomenal body of work it compares to.

ELLE is a challenging film, but challenging precisely because it’s entertaining, because it’s laugh-out-loud funny, because it indulges its kinks. -- Grade: A

Ridiculous, dark as hell, and more fun that you could possibly imagine, Elle must be seen to be believed.
