Lauren (Thora Birch) lives by something she calls the "PIG theory" causing her to break up with everyone she dates after 6 months. She then meets Calvin Chesney (Chris Klein) who hears about this and takes it upon himself to disprove her theory. They then enter a competition to see if his friends who have been in long term relationships will cheat given the opportunity. As the competition goes on, they find themselves getting closer.
