Description by OLDIES.com:

Sunday, August 30, 1970. 600,000 people, the largest audience in the history of pop music, were about to experience one of Jethro Tull's most impressive performances at the Isle of Wight Festival. Nothing Is Easy is directed by award-winning filmmaker Murray Lerner, who also directed and partly shot the original footage of the festival. It contains film of the band's outstanding live performance combined with a brand new interview with Ian Anderson, describing the dramatic, almost violent festival moods, both backstage and in the audience. As he said, "it was a watershed time" between peace and love on one hand, and hooliganism on the other. This is supplemented by early career archive footage including Jethro Tull's performance of "A Song For Jeffrey" on the The Rolling Stones' Rock And Roll Circus which features Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) during his very short stint as the band's guitarist.

Product Description:

Jethro Tull took to the stage immediately after rock legend Jimi Hendrix on the last day of the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970. An eight song set featuring such tracks as "Cry You a Song," "My Sunday Feeling," and "With You There to Help Me," illustrates the band's growth across their first three albums, with Murray Lerner's cinematography accurately conveying the raw energy of their live act. Lead vocalist Ian Anderson also offers insight into what was going on behind the scenes of Jethro Tull at a time before the band had approached superstar status.
