Metalmania 2004

Every year since 1985, heavy music enthusiasts and musicians have converged upon Poland for one of Europe's premier music festivals, and this release makes the highlights of the 2004 event. Showcasing everything from punk and goth to power and death metal, the selection is representative of the best contemporary hard music today, with both veterans of the industry and new talent comprising a roster of true heavy-hitters. Included are clips featuring Portuguese goth poets Moonspell, the pounding aggression of Brazil's Max Cavalera and Soulfly, and Tiamat, a Swedish quartet that has long held its place at the forefront of European Gothic music. Also appearing are MSG, Enslaved, Krisiun, Trauma, and Esqarial.
